Hi,
When I boot my Mandrake Linux computer it gives me an error message that
says something like incorrect kernel version in /boot/system.map. It says
that when it starts to start the system services like sendmail and
linuxconf. Then when I try to run sndconfig to configure my sound card it
says that my kernel does not support sound. Also i noticed that the vmlinuz
file has a different version number then the kernel version number. I have
tried reinstalling linux and it still gives me the same error message when I
boot up the computer.I also upgraded to Mandrake Linux 6.1. Also how do I
setup a welcome message when someone telnets into my computer?
