Now considering that Mozilla installs exactly the same way as every other package in MDK, I'm starting to wonder what problem you are having with everything else. Are you using urpmi or the GUI equivalents called Mandrake Update, Install Software and so on? Because if you are then, like Joe, you'll find that installing software is just as easy, easier in fact, than installing most software in XP and dealing with at least 3 installation packages, often unresolved dependancies that cause XP to hiccup or complain.
