Not easier, just different. Of course, I have the benefit of hindsight, using MDK for a few years now. Installing software is just as easy, if not easier, but it took me a while to figure that out. I can't think of anything now that is not as 'easy' as it was on XP, or even easier and less prone to bugs.
Perhaps you could refresh my memory? ;-)
I've only used XP occasionally, and found it rather difficult.
