Call me ignorant, but doesn't the ISO distro
automatically detect which arch you have? 
I don't know if this applies to anything other than
IA32, or AMD64. If you can, get hold of a "live Linux"
iso - one of them that runs off a CD + RAM. If it
works, then theres a good chance others will too :-)
