It's historical too: KDE was the reason why mandrake was created in the first place! Due to the licensing issues with Trolltech at the time, RedHat wouldn't include KDE in the distrib.......mdk filled up that hole. As to "the rest of that crap": To each his own and IIRC you aren't that much of a KDE-lover yourself, so why the lousy comparison? -- Good luck, HarM
