Just write your document in open office, save it as .doc, and if anyone complains, tell them that they are the ones who have compatibility issues! I've been able to get away with it so far. In job applications even, a lot of people may actually appreciate that you're able to think outside the m$ box. Anyhow, if you take a look at the standards OO is able to conform to, like xml and pdf, it becomes clear that it actually is MS who have serious compatibility problems. Andras
