Tanks folks. I shall give it another try. It will take a while to
get my brain re-accustomed to doing things in dos. It surprises me
that I have forgotten so much. The other thing I need to learn is to
pay attention to case. Many times I have wondered wether a character
is a one, an ell, or an eye. I suppose as one gets adjusted to
linux it becomes more obvious what character it is. For instance you
might never see a one ess, so you would no it is not a one. Years
ago there was trouble with O and 0 so they used the swedish 0 which
had a \ running through it. Now it is fairly obvious because
resolution is so much better. The wrong one can get in there though
if one is not careful.
