I am having some strange problems with Kppp. Whenever I try to
connect to mindspring it dials the #,Connects, Displays the message Logging onto
Network,Then diplays the error message Kppp daemon died unexpectedly. If I then
click on details, It displays the pppd log.
The log says,
pppd 2.3.7 started by root
using interface ppp0
connect ppp0 <--> /dev/cua1
hangup (sighup)
modem hangup
connection terminated
connect time .3 minutes
exit
under kppp diag. it says
sorry cant help you (thanks)
My modem is a Diamond supra express 56k modem connected to
com1.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
