i tried this program, and yet it still will not display other resolutions.
i've also manually adjusted the XF86Config file to add them in.
no luck.
could it be something to do with switching ctrl/caps lock functions?
i haven't actually changed the defaults, but could that possibly be screwing anything 
up?
and while i'm on this topic, is it possible to make the alt key do the work of the esc 
key?
whenever i wish to jump to the beginning of a command line, i have to press esc.
alt would be much more convenient....
