Hi Fellow Newbies ;-) I'm having a problem getting Mandrake 7.0 to recognize my Linksys EtherFast 10/100 + 56K modem PC Card. During the install I noticed the lights on both the LAN and modem blinked when it was searching for "pcmcia devices" but after the install I can get neither one to work. I went to the Linksys site and followed their instructions to no avail. I then decided to try upgrading the pcmcia pkg to 3.1.13 but when I tried to run "make config" I get the following error msg: Error 1 The Linux source tree /usr/src/linux is incomplete or missing! The kernel header files are present, but not the full source code. I then ran the rpm that contains the source code to install it but after the installation I still receive the same error msg I'm running a Dell Inspiron 7000 with 64MB ram in a dual boot mode. The modem and LAN work fine in windoze so I know the card is working. I've searched the web for answers to my questions but nothing has helped so far.
