HELP !!! Hi all, heres the scenario: i wanted to quickly erase linux (a temporary measure you see). So i erased some of the partitions using ms-dos fdisk. now theres one slight problem... i cannot see the whole HD in any O/S. In both windoze and linux it says theres 503meg free.. when its a 2.6gig HD. I've tried a lowlevel format but it still only allows 503meg ... somewhere i've done something *very* wrong and cannot fix this. can somebody please help me ASAP. TIA, Gerald.
