I'm trying to install Linux Mandrake 7.0 on a Pentium MMX, 32mg RAM, 1.96Gig
hard drive, Yamaha sound and video card. I'm going for a Linux only install.
However, after the bootup and a bit of this and that... I get an error
message:
-X11TransSocket UNIX: can't connect error #111
Cannot open display: 0 at usr/bin/per 1-install/my-gtk/pm line 139
Install exited abnormally
And then the message: "it is safe to beboot your computer"
My guess is that my sound/video card is not supported. Any suggestions?
