[newbie] Can't play CD audio with SCSI CD drive

I've tried both cdplay and cdp commands.  Both just sit there.  cdp says
"initializing".

I've used both commands with an ATAPI CD-ROM before, no trouble.

I dual boot, and the CD player function is OK under Win98.
