On my server I mounted my iso image using a loopback device: mount -o loop
<filename>.iso /mnt/<mountpoint>.
Then I exported the directory containing this mountpoint. On my
Workstation (for testing the mount point) I mounted via NFS the server
export directory. I can access other files in the mounted directory so I
believe the mount is working. But I can't see the loopback mounted iso
image.
I tried the same thing with SMB and I am able to access the mounted iso
images. But I don't believe I can install from a SMB mounted directory.
