[newbie] IP-Chains/Masquarading

Hi,

on my first Linux-Boix i have set up IP-Masquarading. And it work
fine for me.
With my Windows Clients i can connect via Ethernet to th inernet
without any Problems.
But i have trouble to configure my Linux-Clients.
Can anybod send me a detailed walktrough how to set up the
Linux-Clients or tell me where i can find a german or english 
URL with a Howto?
