[newbie] Menu help!

Hi. I have been using Linux for awhile now, and just got mandrake 7.1.

I did a fresh install, and for some reason, i cannot find a way to edit
menu's in Gnome and KDE. When i go the the menu editor in KDE, i get the
error, "Menu editor not installed".

Please help!  Thanks in advance!
