[newbie] Ejecting Zip Disk

Hi, I posted this earlier, but never saw it on the mailing list and didn't get a responce so will try again.   I have an internal zip drive and Mandrake 7.1, when I use the zip icon on the desktop I can use the zip drive, but it will not let me eject the disk when I am done, or want to change disks.  Is there some setting that I need to change?
