I happen to like the fact that my Linux box has been on
mostly 24/7 for months.

This week I have been futzing around with my wife's laptop
trying to reinstall Win98 SE -- that "OS" was in one of its
periodic self-destructive phases. The so-called "ease" of
Windows is one of the greatest con jobs ever perpetrated.

I use my Linux box for lots of things. It's not just a
puzzle.

The thing about computers is: you figure out what you want
them for then you apply yourself to figuring out how to make
them do what you want them to do. It's no different with
any OS. Don't expect everything to be handed to you,
because it is not that way in the real world.

BTW "you two" is inappropriate as I do not necessarily
concur with the other one.
