Lynn....you're welcome.  What I suspect is that the model you
have is pretty much like the group of printers commonly
referred to as WINprinters.  These printers require
proprietary software to work and if the manufacturer only
supplies software for windows and Mac OS then it's probable
that it may never work with Linux.
