Hello, I have a voodoo2 based card and was having troubles running the glide tests as a non-root user. I compiled the latest Device3Dfx rpm and it worked fine and had no problem installing it, but still could not run the tests as user. I checked the permissions on /dev/3dfx and they were crw-rw---- root tdfx. After doing a chmod 666 (giving all users read/write permission) on /dev/3dfx, I could run the glide tests fine. My question is for those of you that have had no problems with running the tests. What are your permissions set at for /dev/3dfx? Should I not have changed the permissions? Any other suggestions?
