Dear friends:

The menu editor is there, but not available graphically.

Just type kmenuedit in xterm and it will bring it up. or type it as root
and it will give you global menu options. You can then easily set up
kmenuedit as an icon on your desktop by adding /usr/bin/kmenuedit to the
Properties, Executable section of the icon. But you MUST also check the
section at the bottom of the same screen that says: "run in terminal."
And this way you can run kmenuedit as an icon on your desktop whenever
you want to.
