Hi all
We aim to setup a proof-of-concept linux-based
department server which can cater for 5-50 users, which can provide
at least the following services:
- mail (SMTP + IMAP)
- file server (windows clients)
- print server (windows clients)
- fax server (windows clients)
Can anyone recommend the minimum hardware platform we can run this on?
If some of you have implemented such a server, what are the hardware
specs
and how well does Mandrake perform?
Is it better to go for a uni- or multiprocessor machine?
