Dear group, I've installed mtv (www.mpegtv.com) video player, and have it played VCDs. It's really nice that we can see VCD movie in Linux :-) But I have a problem. The video doesn't run smoothly (the audio is fine), even in window mode (NOT full-screen mode). Feels like I was watching a "breakdance" show :-) Here is the environment where I run mtv: - Motherboard TX-Pro II, processor: AMD K6-2 300 - Graphic card SiS 5597/5598 (on board) with 2 MB memory - RAM 62 MB - Linux Mandrake 7.2, KDE 2, - resolution: 800x600, color depth: 16 bpp - and no other application is running Can anyone help me to get a smooth VCD playing on my desktop?
