Hi all, after two days of shear frustration I am back on line. So after a
major problem with the WD hard drive, not wanting to take an upgrade and
files corrupted etc....etc.... I discovered that the silly thing will take a
complete format and reinstall of 7.2 In the process it saw an old version on
the hdc and formatted the swap on that disk. so it sees swap as hda5 and
hdc5. My question is, if I do an install of 7.2 on the hdc drive and reformat
the whole thing will that mess up the linux installation on the hda drive
since it may not be able to see the swap in the same place on the hdc drive?
I want to do this because the hdc install will be my test bed to try things
while hda will be my hopefully stable version for security and connection to
internet etc. Any help will be appreciated.
