Has anybody tried to install linux 8.0 on dell deimension xps600 machine ? I have installed linux on these machines,installtion goes fine .But as soon as i try to reboot i get a block of message " VFS: cannnot open device "2101" or " 21:01" Please append a correct "root=" boot option Kernel panic:VFS:unable to mount root fs on 21:01" These computer had mandrake 7.2 before and it worked fine.Anybody help thanks in advance
