I have seen that KDE2.2 is available on the mirrors now:

http://download.sourceforge.net/mirrors/kde/stable/2.2/Mandrake/8.0/i586/

I think I would like to upgrade, but I'm not sure how. There are many
rpms in that directory, and I don't know which ones I need to install.
I assume that if I install kdebase, but leave the other stuff
unchanged, things will break. Is there a way to tell it to upgrade
kde to kde2.2 and install everything that kde2.2 requires? Or should
I just wait for Mandrake 8.1?

Thanks
