It will run on 32 Megs (you'll just need a big swap partition) I suggest a minimum of 64 Megs or if you can get more 128 Megs. I have 384Megs and it is perfect, it virtually never uses the swap (and if it does it uses no more than 20Megs) so everything is fast.
