Try
typing: startx
if it
starts something other then kde
go to
your home directory (like : /home/myname), and type: touch
.xinitrd (think thats right..and don't forget the dot at the start
of the name.)
that
will make a file by that name, edit it and put the word:
startkde in it...
then
try typing startx again...
that
should start kde just fine..
