windows would have worked if you would have gone into the device mangler,
err... manager and deleted the info about the old MB and stuff, and let
winders discover the new hardware. I have a computer that I have upgraded
since it was a 286/10 with 2.5 megs mem. and a 30 meg hd. copies the files
to new HD upgrade winders since 3.1, (95,98, now ME) runs 2 HDs (c: and
/home on one, d: and / on the other, has had a 486/25(sx), p100/50, a few
amd and Cyrix up to 266, now has a celery 366 winders never had much choking
when I upgraded. as long as I deleted all the old MB info before setting the
drives to a new MB. and Mandrake is MUCH better than winders I do believe.
