I tried VMware on Mandrake 8.1 on two different machines, could not get printing to work with either, so called their tech support and they said that the kernel in 8.1 is not supported yet. So bought Win4Lin, and everything works perfect so far, it even picked up the scanner, a HP DeskJet 3200c. Took a little bit to figure out the settings, but after I got that right, all works perfect so far. Fred
