Hi, I had an NT4 NTFS partition (~1.9 Gig) and a FAT32 partition (~1.9 Gig). I used Harddrake to delete both of them and create a single FAT32 partition out of them (~3.8 Gig). When I looked at the properties of the directory mount point using Konqueror I got a size of ~1.9 Gig! Rebooting did not remove the discrepancy between Harddrake and Konqueror. Harddrake showed no empty (unused) partition either.
I went and installed win2k on this new FAT32 partition (because B?ll G?te? has a strangle hold on me, and not because I like any of those !nice OSs). Win2k did the same thing. Explorer tells me the drive was ~1.9 Gig but the Disk Management tool says it is ~3.8 Gig. The disk management tool showed no empty (unused) partition, like Harddrake. Can someone please tell me what is going on here and how to fix it please? Seedkum
