Hi Damien, What distro was it? I still have a Full Box 8.0 which failed on my old machine and I am going to try it on another System which has a Ricoh CDRW. My plan now is try it and see - if it doesn't work on this one, I will try an 8.2 "update" I want to put the 8.0 on to get the IBM ViaVoice product which came with it ( wouldn't even install on the last try).
The last few messages have given me a little hope again.......
