( looks like they had to take the Mplayer RPMs off sight. as you may already know, Mplayer developers do not build/support/recommend/allow Mplayer precompiled binaries. ) at this point i should probably recommend you to download the source from mplayer's homepage and compile. it's the only way to know it will work. anyway, try this download and see if it works for you. post back if you encounter new problems or decide to compile from source, or if you can't find the right commands to make Mplayer work.
