Thanks guys. I am thinking that maybe I could make a python script that
would store my ip address in a system variable and then every hour go to
www.whatismyip.com and compare it with the actual ip address. If it changed
it would store it as the new system variable and then email me what the new
ip address is. I haven't really written a script before so that would be
kind of fun to try to do. Or I could use DynDNS. That seems viable.

A quesiton about forwarding on port 22. My sister and a good number of my
friend's use my wireless router to connect to the internet. Will forwarding
on port 22 introduce security issues for people running Vista or XP?

Thanks.
