Hi Ed Yost & fellow Nikon users,

Regarding the previous posting about "blemishes" on filters/lens and how
to remove them using nose/forehead grease, I tried it today on one of my old
L37c.

The blemishes (marks, not scratches) did show a 50% decrease in visibility
when I rubbed some nose grease and cleaned it away with some breath and lens
cleaning cloth. Thanks Ed, for the most interesting yet practical posting.

Nikon makes a heck lota stuff (binoculars and other non camera related
stuff).....maybe we're going to see a new product soon. Nikon technician's
nose/forehead grease. Boy, I thought puberty (long past) only brought
problems (oily skin and acne), we'd thought it's what the doctor ordered for
cleaning filters/lenses. Alright, Nikon Inc, let's harvest those pubercent
teens.
