Dear Patricio,
The answer is... no! Read the manual carefully.
On pg. 48, the table shows that the N50 will only Matrix balance fill
flash in P,S,&A modes (center weighted fill flash in M mode). Sure you
can USE AF-D type lenses with the built in flash (pg. 47 lists them),
but D type information (mainly distance) is NOT used in flash exposure
with the N50(built in flash or speedlight attached). The same is true
for the N60.
In contrast, the N70 will 3D multisensor (matrix) balance fill flash
with D-lenses. Specifically stated in the N70 manual, pgs.86 and 98.
Don't be too dissapointed, though. Matrix fill flash exposure is still
a hell of a lot easier than manually fill flashing. :)
