Dear David,
I am initially enthusiastic about the build quality, feel and controls
of the F100 as I was playing with the camera at my local (Pasadena,
Calif.)Nikon store.
However, just to be clear... the F100 does NOT have the F5's color RGB
1000 pixel exposure meter. I don't think Nikon has misled anyone in its
press releases about this. The F100 does have 3D matrix metering.
Nikon does boast that the autofocus ability is the same as the F5.
