Hi Butch!

Hey kabayan, I'm from the Philipines. Anyway, Columbia is your best bet, it
beingt he official distributor. Their after service has a bit more to be
desired off, but they're okay. Their prices are around 2000 pesos less than
the dollar converted price. Other places like Island Photo also get their
Nikon's from Columbia.
I also recently bought from them my FM2n. Its a good choice to back your AF
camera. Happy shooting!

regards,
miguel

Subject: Nikon in the Philippines [v04.n137/7]
Hi! I'm planning to purchase a new Nikon body here in the Philippines. Is
there any list member from the Philippines who knows where to get the best
bargains? Columbia photo is the official distributor here but their
cameras are much more expensive than those sold in other photo shops. I'm
thinking of an FM2n: fully manual, no frills, very sturdy, high flash sync
speed, battery is only for the meter. This will be a back-up to my Nikon
AF and for mountaineering purposes. Please feel free to email me directly.
I would appreciate anybody's help. Thanks.
