Hi Roland, Thanks for the info. It's a pity that there aren't more Nikkor zooms with non rotating fronts. Strange though, the 35-105 AF has non rotating front, but the more expensive 24-120 AF and 28-105 AF don't. The new 28-70/2.8 sounds like a dream, but the price is far from reality. I have to keep on dreaming until its price falls by 50%. (Yeh, keep dreaming.) Happy shooting. Sover
