Dear fellows, Can anybody tell me the difference in the life size magnification 1:1 and than goes down to 1:2, 1:3, and so on? If in 35mm, 1:1 will occupy area coverage of 24mm X 36mm in negative what coverage will 1:2 get? Is it 48mm X 72mm (that means 1:1 goes to 1:2 in diagonal of the negative) or is it 33mm X 51mm (that means 1:1 goes to 1:2 by twicing the area of coverage) Note: I get 33mm X 51mm from this formula 2 X ( 24 x 36 ) = ( n x 24 ) x ( n x 36 ) which make n = square root of 2 = about 1.4142, so 2 x ( 24 x 36 ) = ( 1.4142 x 24 ) x ( 1.4142 x 36 ) = about 33 x 51 Sorry for the confusing I may made... Regards, -- David
