I've recently become very interested in QTVR and have bought equipment
just for this purpose. I was in Rome last week and used a 20mm with a
panoramic tripod head for all the QTVR images shot. In the field the
20mm is great. Panning at 30 degree increments (with camera vertical,
of course) yields 12 shots with about 50% overlap. Bracket each shot 3
times and 12 X 3 = 36... perfect for a single roll of film. I still
have not had the developing returned or begun scanning/stitching but
I've got a good feeling about it. For even more info, see
