After a very careful reading of the F100s instruction manual, I believe the
following are either not adequately covered or are left out altogether, IMO.

LCD light - There is an easier way to turn off the F100s LCD light rather
than waiting for the delay timer to turn it off or shutting the power switch
off. Just like in the F5, move the on/off switch towards the on position
one more time.

Depth-of-Field-Preview Button The depth-of-field-preview button works even
if you choose to set the aperture using the lens aperture ring with Custom
Setting 19.

Using Self-timer in Auto-exposure mode without eyepiece blind - Use Custom
Setting 21 to set AE/AF lock to toggle mode. Set up to take your self-timer
shot as normal. While looking through the viewfinder press the AE/AF lock
button once. That locks the F100s meter selected EV. Release the shutter
and get in the picture. Note, you loose AF lock from the AE-L/AF-L button
when you use any Custom Setting 21 choice other than the default.

AF-On Button The AF-On button can be used in place of half-press of the
shutter release button without changing Custom Setting 4. If you choose to
change Custom Setting 4 so that only AF-On initiates autofocus, you can use
this button as a focus lock in continuous AF mode simply by releasing the
AF-On button.

Unique Multiple exposure feature Once you select multiple exposure mode
from the drive options, the F100 will keep taking exposures on the same film
frame, until you cancel it. When you cancel this feature by selecting any
other drive choice, the film will automatically advance the next time you
half press the shutter-release. Even the F-5 cannot do this. You do not
have to decide in advance that the next shot will be the last on this frame,
then change the drive mode, then take the last shot and the film advances.

Custom Settings Worth Memorizing - In other words, settings you might want
to change while using the F100. I do not mean to imply that the other
settings are less important. I just think you can decide in advance where
the other settings should be set and stick to those setting.
