Hi, I have an F90x-N90 in the states. The other day I was photographing in the cold and noticed that the manual exposure graph on the internal display was flashing. I checked the battery level and it showed ok. I sent the camera off to Nikon and they said it was dead batteries. The battery level tested ok in the morning and the display was still flashing. I have photographed in the cold with it before and the batteries have gone completely dead and the display did not flash then.
