I am using Allstate insurance.  My equipment in covered under an
extension to my home-owner's policy.  However, the real problem you may
face is having your equipment appraised for value.  It took me weeks to
find someone to do this, everyone I called refused the request.  I
finally found an established used camera dealer who wrote a letter to
value the equipment I owned.  If your equipment is relatively new and
you have the receipts, you may be OK.
