I've rock/ice climbed for years with my F801s.
Little trick: get a short and elastic strap and pass it under your arm, it'll keep the 
camera from bouncing.
I use a camera bag with an extra long strap doubled with a biner attached to the back 
of the harness.
But remember that when the going gets tough, the camera is better inside the bag.
Problems with rain, cold... have been rehearsed here many times.
