I am also an avid hiker/climber at the Shawangunk Mountains in New Paltz, NY. These mountains, or, if your from Colorado, hills, have some of the best rock climbing in the Northeast. I bring my F5 with the 80-200 attached in the Lowepro Topload Zoom AW. The 35-70 fits snugly in the front pocket. The bag provides excellent protection from bangs and moisture. I also just got the Sigma 18-35. I'll probably carry it in a fanny pack. Dennis queried >I'm considering a bag like the Lowepro Topload AW or >the Tenba Zoom LZ.
