to N90s(F90X)users, the coating on the N90s(F90X)is quite durable. i mean i have an N90s which has gone through about 20,000 frames, and it still looks good. the comment i made about the peeling back problem is more evident with the MF-26 back eventhough the coating is similar to the N90s standard back. if you keep on opening and closing the MF-26's door to access the buttons, you are more likely to damage the coating around the indention provided for your finger. when it starts peeling, there is almost no way to stop it from doing so. about standard backs, it's the same. get it scratched by hitting it against the sharp ridge of your belt buckle, zipper, or rivets on your jeans and it can start peeling.
