I really hope Nikon uses its image stabilization patent to good use by making an AF-S IF-ED 300/4D with image stabilization, a large hood like the 80-200 AF-S (not the tiny hood built into the current f4 version) and three focus-hold buttons like the 80-200. I'd pay $1500 for that... (almost, but not quite, the Canon 300/4 IS lens...) Dan
