Sover,

the CE logo is not only for Electro-Magnetic Compatibility. About
everything that is sold in the European Union, from teddy bears to
cameras, has to wear that stamp. Depending on the products, requirements
are different (EMC, safety, robustness...).

Note that it does NOT mean that the article has been officially tested
and found to be compliant with the relevant requirements, as the logo is
put the the manufacturer. Instead, it is rather a declaration of
conformity from the latter.
