Tom Masson asked about carry on bags; The Pro Trekker is borderline with regard to use as a carry on bag in terms of its dimensions, but should be okay i.e. allowed by most airlines. My concern is more to do with carry on weight restrictions. The intention to clamp down on oversize and overweight carry on bags at Singapore's Changi Airport was announced this week with a weight restriction of 7 Kg. Doesn't take much particularly with a longer lens or two to reach this limit. Anyone got any experience or comments about checking in their Nikon gear using cases such as the Pelicans ? ...
